Giuseppe Serazzi, born in 1888 in Vercelli,
left school early and started working very young in an electrical
cables factory called Tedeschi. In 1927, with his acquired
esperience and his great spirit of initiative, he went into
business with
Mr. Caretto and set up the "Caretto & Serazzi"
factory. |

|
At the end of the war, after years of
achievement and consolidation and after having developed
his vast knowledge in the sector, he closed down the factory
and in 1945, together with is son-in-law Riccardo Mantovani,
set up "Mantovani & Serazzi" located on
his property in Druento, on the outskirts of Turin.
|
| His vast experience coupled with the innovative
spirit of his son-in-law, a milanese man with excellent
managerial skills, greatly developed the company making
it one of the top in the sector. |

|
In 1969, after the death of Giuseppe
Serazzi, Riccardo Mantovani carried on the business aiming
at more prestigious objectives until his own death in
1996.
|
|
Today "Mantovani & Serazzi", still a family
run business, thanks to the precious and competent work
of its fruitful collaborators who have been working in
the company for years, continued its policy of expansion
both in the national and european market combining its
traditional production of copper cables with the new technological
one of optical fibres.
